One of our highly experienced team will visit to look at your tree/s and talk to you about your requirements. They will use their professional knowledge to offer advice on the best way to achieve your requirements, explain the procedure and give you an expected time scale and cost.

A full written report can also be produced where required. You will receive a written quote and when you accept this a time will be arranged for the work to be done that is convenient for you. Once the work is underway you can be assured that it will be done with as little disruption to yourselves, your neighbours and your garden as possible with every effort made to leave your property looking as good as ever.

You should also know that in the event of an accident we are fully insured to 5 million pounds and that any damage caused will be fully rectified. We are an environmentally aware company and where possible we like to recycle or reuse as much of the waste product as possible. You may wish to discuss some options with us such as having your tree/s chipped and left on site for use on your borders or having large sections of trunk wood planked for use as raised beds or seating. Where recycling is not possible we dispose of waste from our jobs in a responsible manner.

Crown Reduction
Reducing the size of the tree's overall canopy by pruning the branches evenly throughout the crown and retaining the trees’ natural shape.

Crown Thinning
Selective removal of inner branches evenly throughout the tree's crown allowing light to travel through the crown and letting air circulate more effectively throughout the canopy without altering the trees’ natural shape.

Crown Lifting

Removal of selected branches and limbs from the lower part of the tree's crown to raise the crown’s overall height.

Removal of all branches and most limbs leaving only the trunk and occasionally a framework of the major limbs. We do not recommend this as a course of action as the tree’s natural structure and shape are lost.

Branch and Limb Removal
Where it is necessary to remove certain branches without fully reducing, thinning or lifting the crown this is done by removing as little live growth as possible to ensure the health and stability of the tree.
The safe removal of any naturally occurring deadwood from the crown in order to ensure that the tree is safe.

Fruit Tree Management
Pruning, normally done when the trees are dormant, to keep the tree's size and shape under control and stimulate the formation of flowers and fruit buds to ensure productivity.

Tree Health Assessment
An inspection to identify potential hazards with recommendations as to the best course of action to ensure the safety of the tree and those around them.

Removal of the whole tree. In a confined area felling will normally require the tree to be climbed, dismantled in sections and lowered by rope to limit damage to the surrounding area. Trees can also be brought down using a controlled and calculated fell. It is also possible to take a tree down using a tracked access platform controlled by a fully qualified operative.

Stump and Root Removal
Grinding the stump out to allow planting or building in the area where a tree once stood. Where the stump does not pose a problem it can be left and treated to ensure that re-growth does not occur.
Hedge Trimming
Trimming the hedge on a regular basis to encourage tight and full growth. Hedge trimming may also include a reduction in the hedge height.

Brushwood Removal and Disposal
Removal of waste from our work on trees and shrubs. All cuttings are put through our wood-chipper and the resulting chip can be left on site for mulching borders or can be removed from the site altogether. Larger tree sections are also removed or can be turned into firewood and left on site.

Fallen Trees
Safe and swift removal of trees lost due to age, poor health or stormy weather.

Wood Products
The production of wood chip, firewood, planks, sleepers and garden ornaments from clients own trees or as required.

Tree Sourcing, Planting & Aftercare
Advice, purchase and installation of new trees and shrubs, taking into account aesthetics and situation to ensure the best possible result.

Preservation & Conservation Order Searches & Management
Investigation into Council orders placed on a particular tree or trees and formal reports or requests made for work to be done.
